Jacqueline Jamieson was born in Port Elizabeth and spent her early days in Addo and Sunlands River Valley in the Eastern Cape. After matriculating from Theodor Herzle High School in Port Elizabeth in 1985, she attended the University of Port Elizabeth and completed a BA Degree in Industrial and Organisational Psychology. Her Insurance career of 18 years started when she entered into the Industry in 1990 at AIG in Port Elizabeth, performing duties associated to Commercial Insurance claims.
In 1994 she joined Hollard in Johannesburg and obtained her Associateship to the Insurance Institute of South Africa (AIISA). Jacqueline enjoyed a 6 year career n the Motor Industry claims department and progressed from Claims administrator to Team Manager of the Wesbank claims division. In 2000 Jacqueline took up her role as the Insurance/Risk Administrator for the Fuel Logistics Group and worked closely with Eikos in developing a Logistics Insurance solution for the company.
In 2006 Jacqueline joined Eikos Risk Applications and is now involved with various clients as a consultant in the Marine Insurance market forming part of the Mobility Team. Jacqueline enjoys rap jumping (forward abseiling) when she forgets to be scared and reads in her spare time. She has a passion for animals and can’t resist a good movie. When she feels creative, making hand made cards keeps her busy. One of Jacqueline’s goals as the moment is to join her fellow consultants on the golf course and to sky dive.
